Rhino Records, the label that attracts music fans from all over the world with its rich catalogue of significant bands and artists not to be missed in music history, presents a new introductory series of the best analogue albums ‘NOW PLAYING’. The series features carefully selected well-known and popular tracks by artists and bands emblematic of a genre or era, opening the door to a rich musical history not only for music fans of the past, but also for new music lovers and aspiring analogue connoisseurs.
Joining the series this time round is Sister Sledge, the leading female vocal group of the disco generation, who have released a number of songs that can be considered club classics. Formed in 1971 with the aim of becoming the female version of the Jackson 5, they quickly rose to international fame in the late 70s with their material produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, and their catalogue includes the iconic and timelessly brilliant ‘We Are Family’. Ten tracks were carefully selected from their catalogue for inclusion on this album, including the iconic ‘We Are Family’ and timeless disco classics ‘He's The Greatest Dancer’ and ‘Lost in Music’.
